GI Cancer Fundraiser!

Hello Everyone!

I am a part of a wonderful group of stamping ladies called Simply Stars and our wonderful leader is the one and only Mrs. Heather Summers!  She is a fantastic woman, friend and upline.  Every year Heather puts on a fundraiser in honour of her Dad.  The fundraiser is to raise funds for GI Cancer Research.  This year's format is a little bit different but will be equally as amazing (if not better!!!)  Here are the details:

• Saturday November 3rd 9:30 am, 1 pm and if there is enough we can also do a spot at 6:30pm OR a kit to go (this is available for anyone and everyone in Canada!)
• at my home!
• we will be making 8 cards (2 of each pattern) and a sweet little card set that will be perfect for a hostess, friend or for yourself!  You will LOVE it!
• cost: $60 which includes the Scentsational Season stamp set and Holiday Collection Framelits PLUS the 9 projects
• OR if you don't have a big shop but still love to stamp you can get the stamp set Scentsational Season Plus the 9 projects for only $40
• OR $30 which is the cost of the projects and the donation to GI Cancer Research
• a minimum of $10 will be donated in each payment for this class!!!  This makes me so happy!
• treats, door prizes, treats, did I mention door prizes and more!!!!

AND to sweeten the deal.....if you RSVP to this event and pay through the paypal link below or in person by midnight on Sunday October 7th for option #1 you will receive a roll of Gumball Green ribbon just because you are wonderful!  That is a $12.25 value!
IF you live in Canada and would like to order a kit to go you will receive the following for your $60:

• all consumable items bagged and ready to create
• the stamp set Scentsational Season (in clear)
• the framelit set Holiday Collection
• an emailed PDF with a complete supply list and photos of the projects
• private links to 5 videos demonstrating how to assemble the 9 projects
• entered in the door prizes as well
• in order to complete these projects at home you will need a Christmas greeting, red ink (I used Cherry Cobbler), green ink (I used Gumball Green), brown ink (I used Early Espresso) and another ink colour for the tree topper star

OK all you fantastic ladies I have got this working now! So to pay for the Weight Watchers Recipe book you can do one of three things:

The book is $30.  The shipping will be $7 but if you can pick it up from me there is no shipping charges.  After you have paid for the book please make sure you email me to make sure I have recieved it and your name and address just so I can stay super organized!  That would be fantastic ladies!!  Thank you all so much for being apart of this book!

Also ladies if I find that there is a big discrepancy with the shipping I will refund the difference if it is a lot but from estimating on the Canada post site this seems reasonable for far and wide lol!

Making Our Own Weight Watchers Recipe Book

Hello!!  Alright well this post is to talk about a great project that I am working on with some amazing women I have met in my Weight Watchers journey.  As you have seen on this blog I love to scrapbook and stamp.  And My Digital Studio (MDS) is the way to go for scrap booking for me for sure lol!  You can print as many as you want!!

So I had this idea that I would love to have some of the go to recipes that all the wonderful people I have met on this journey have used to be successful themselves.  Then I thought if I would like this others may want to as well!  Guess what they did!  So I am now making a book for us and if any of you out there are on the same journey and would like to participate that would be great and I would love to meet you.

Alright so to the ladies out there that are already involved and everyone else of course too lol!  I wanted to show you a sample of the book.  OK but my recipe doesn't match my picture lol, I haven't made it yet to take the pic but don't worry it will when I print the book.  So ladies what do you think, do you like it??

Wow ok so I was planning on getting back into the blogging and I am doing worse than last time, lol.  I hope you can forgive me and hopefully I can get back into the swing of things here soon.  I thought today I would share with you an MDS page I did of my sister and I.   I had a lot of fun with this page.  Creating the bow flowers took some time but I love the end result.  I hope you all are having a blast getting ready for the holidays and thank you for stopping by! Fundraiser!

Hello Ladies!  Every year my wonderful upline Heather Summers hosts a fundraiser in honour of her Dad for GI Cancer research.  I wanted to post some of the details here to see if anyone is interested.  Unfortunately I can only sell the kits within Canada, so if your are in US and you have some Canadian friends that you think may be interested and pass along the info that would be amazing!  Its a wonderful fundraiser and we are supporting a great cause at the same time so what could be better than that.  If you are in the London area and want to join just email me at shannonmorgan176@hotmail.com or if you would like a kit and live anywhere in Canada we can do that as well.  In the kit you will get the supplies, product and instructions to make all the projects.  Here is the  flyer:

Nephews First Birthday!

Ok all you wonderful stampers,  I will start off by apologizing for being the worst blogger ever!  I have had a personal September I guess you could say, just a lot going on and just didn't get to the blogging.  So I will try and be better!  Things have gotten better so hopefully we will be back on track and there will be lots for you to read and look at!

So on to the stamping!  This is a card I made for my Nephew Owen's first birthday!  I was told that it better be good lol so I hope it was up to par!  I used bashful blue, pacific point and real red.  Inside there is also some pumpkin pie and daffodil delight!  On the outside I used one of the spinners it is so fun, they actually spin so I thought that was a cool touch, and then on the inside I did a two layer pop up card.  This is the first pop up card I have ever made so I was excited about that and thought it would be neat for a first birthday card!

Grand Canyon

Hey ladies hope your weekend is going wonderfully!  I have been playing in my studio and organizing which seems to be taking forever!!  And have some fun planned for tomorrow, a simply stars team potluck and then it is club night with the girls!!  Yeah fun!  Today I thought I would share another MDS page with you.  If you haven't tried digital scrapbooking it is seriously amazing!  This is a page I made for mine and Melissa's trip to the Grand Canyon!  We went to Las Vegas a couple of years ago and had a blast.  My favourite part of the trip though was going to the Grand Canyon!!  It is soooo beautiful and breathtaking!  We had such a good time and an amazing experience there.  We took a small plane about an hour to the canyon from Vegas and then we got to take a helicopter down into the Grand Canyon.  It was spectacular, if you look at the pic closely of us in front of the helicopter my hair is standing on end lol!  I look like a troll!

After the helicopter we got to take a boat ride along the Colorado river.  If you get the chance to go, you definitely need to go!  Well have a great weekend ladies!  Thank you for stopping by!  XOXO!!
