Christmas in July!!!!

So when we were at convention I told you that our group made pillow gifts for each other, it was like Christmas!  So I thought that I would show you an amazing gift that I received and a Christmas card that we are making at my Card club this month!

So first the present!  This is an amazing wristlet that my friend Kristina Lowen made and the beautiful charm that is on it was made by another friend Becky Bonta!  I love these they are fantastic!

And now the Christmas card, this card actually came about by looking at two different swaps that I got at convention, I took the colour combo from one and the layout of the other and kind of mushed them together and Voila! A Christmas card!

Thank you for stopping by! XOXO

I Just had a AWWWW Moment

Ok so I am posting like 5 min after my last post because guess what?!?!?!  I am not the most computer savvy person in the world so for me to have figured out a blog all by myself I was pretty impressed!  But I was unhappy with the size my pictures were showing up, I wanted you guys to be able to see more detail in them, well guess what??  I just figured it out!!!!!  So now I am soooo excited, so if you seen something you like go back and take a better look at the pics now now that they are larger!  And in celebration of me figuring out this I will share a couple more pics of convention!

This was a picture hanging up at the Riverton Offices.  A Beautiful saying.

This was a Beautiful display they had set up at Riverton, I am such a vintage girl and this just screamed at me I loved it!

And this last picture is for all you lovely ladies to show your Hubbies when they say "Is there anything left in the warehouse?" (referring to all the stuff you have ordered)  you can show him this and say " Yes hunny don't worry look there is still plenty left in the warehouse for me to order!!"  LOL I may be talking from experience!!  Have a wonderful Day! XOXO!

Vintage Amour Card

Hello all, I have a couple of things to share with you today, one is a wonderful picture of the beautiful convention bag and all the fun stuff that we got in the bag to entice you all a little more to come to convention next year!

And then the card I have to show you is one that I made quite awhile ago but I am still in love with it.  It was one of those cards that I just had a blast with and used so many fun things on.  The DSP is retired but you could easily replace it with current DSP.  I used the artistic etchings set from the IB&C (one of my FAVOURITE!!!)  I used brads, and a vintage brad which are so gorgeous!  I also used the Distressing kit, embossed the Eiffel Tower and added some of the lace ribbon!  Hope you like it!  If you have any questions let me know!

HAPPY STAMPING!  Thanks for stopping by! XOXO!!

More from convention!!!

So if you are ever thinking of going to convention.......GO!!! LOL, it was soooo much fun, you learn so much and you meet so many people.  We went with a group of about 21 and had some other wonderful people join our group as well.  Before convention we all decided that we were going to make pillow gifts that we would exchange one night.  Let me tell you how amazing it was, it was like Christmas and we all know how I feel about Christmas.  There are so many talented women in Stampin Up it always amazes me to see all the creativity!  So today I will show you what I made for the swaps and later next week I will show you some of the amazing gifts I received!

So this is another take on my Harley key chain idea.  Since the name of our group is Simply Stars I put that on one side and monogrammed!  I hope they liked them and I hope you do too!

Thanks for stopping by and hope you do again!  I am off to do some stamping with Melissa so I need to hide my sparkles or they will be all over my...well....everything lol! XOXO!

Christmas!!! I love Christmas!!!!

Hello all hope your week is going wonderfully well!  I have a Christmas card to share with you today, and yes I said Christmas!  I love Christmas and Christmas cards are soooo much fun to make.  Another wonderful thing they did for us at Convention was show us the upcoming mini catty that starts on Sept. 1st and I can't wait to make some fun projects with the amazing products in it, I think you will all be super pumped once you see it!  So my card today uses a treat cup which are way fun to use on cards you can fill them with candy, little gifts or decorate it like I did with this card.  I used the snow globe stamp and used the treat cup as the globe.  I filled it with some cotton and our glass glitter!  What do you think??

Don't worry I have plenty of fun things that I received as gifts from convention to show you soon!!!  XOXO!

Convention!!!

Ok so I have been soooo MIA, it was a crazy week last week!  But so much fun!  I went to Stampin Ups! convention in Salt Lake City, Utah!!  I have so many amazing things to share with all of you!  I had a blast met some wonderful people and learned some really fun new things!  But first lets share a crazy story:

So we left on Monday because we wanted to be able to spend an extra day in SLC, or should I say we were supposed to get there on Monday.  I left London a little later than I should have and did not account for my close to an hour wait at the border, so I had to be speedy to get to the airport on time, which I made it with probably a minute (literally) to spare, only to find out our plane had been delayed by 2hours, ok so that sucked but oh well, well about ten minutes later they told us our flight was cancelled for the day and we would have to be put on different flights as they did not have another plane that we could take.

We then go to reschedule and we all ended up on different flights that had only half hour layovers at different airports!  It was craziness.  So we all got to the hotel that they put us up at and well how to put this....It was not nice at all!!  One of the girls said there was actually a bug in her bed ahhhh!  The power went out while we were there and there was only one waitress and one cook with like 20 people wanting food!  So even thought this hotel was free we packed up our stuff and went to a different hotel that was beautiful!  Had some good food and went to sleep waiting for our trip to SLC!

Ok I know you want stamp stuff so I have lots to show you from Convention and I will fill you in with more details this week but I thought today I would show you the simply adorned swap that I made for the organized swap that I joined.  I love the way it turned out.  I used the French Script background stamp, the Eiffel tower stamp from artistic etchings and my new favourite a la cart stamp S.W.A.K and embossed it in the Cherry Cobbler embossing powder!  Love that stamp it is soooo much fun!

Hope you like it and I will be back tomorrow to show you some other things and to tell you more about convention!!  Thank you for stopping by!  XOXO!

A 100th Birthday Card!!!

So of course with a birthday there has to be a birthday card right??  And what kind of stamper would turn down the chance to make a 100th birthday card!?!?  It was sooooo much fun, I hope you like it.

The colours are Real Red, Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie.  This card is bigger than a standard card it is 51/2 by 7.  And there really are 100 candles on the cake!!  Thank you for stopping by! XO

Furry Little Love of my Life!

Hello everyone sorry I was missing in action the last couple of days, it was a busy weekend but a great one.  First I would like to give a message to all our friends south of the border even though it is slightly belated, I hope you had a fabulous July 4th!!!

And since it is my 3rd post I thought it was time to introduce you to the furry little love of my life, Harley, who I am sure you will see and hear a lot of on my blog, she is my perfect little puppy who I love and adore!!  So here she is:

Ok I know I'm bias but isn't she the cutest ever!!??  Ok so my post today is on a project I made of Harley using the Simply Adorned product from Stampin Up!, I made a keychain.  I used pliers to take apart a necklace, and then added the embelishments I wanted!  It was soooo easy yet so cute and you can get a bunch of keychains out of one necklace!  If you have any questions just ask!

And the back:

Hope you like it and that you all had fantastic long weekends too XO!
